My Substack: Zine of a Writer
I write a Substack called Zine of a Writer. This is a primarily visual, creative way for me to sort of diarize my writing life in zine-form (drawings, paintings, collages—all done my me, a NON-visual artist—with typed text). I’ll put up book reviews (mostly of books by Canadian, small-press non-males), personal essays, and author Q&As.

Gurls to the Front! is my quarterly e-newsletter. A celebration of literary women and nonbinary folks on the fringes, it celebrates small press debuts by female-identifying or nonbinary Canadian authors, Cool Gurl Books (book recommendations from Canadian female or nonbinary writers), Carly’s Choice (bookstagrammer @carlyisreading’s favourite CanLit book of the season), my news, what I’ve been reading, and more.
